Rathad nan Sgeul | Storytelling Tour 
Come join us for a storytelling tour of the Highland Village. This special folklife experience will give you insight into the lives and stories of Nova Scotia Gaels. After the walk, the group will have an opportunity to enjoy some tea and traditional Cape Breton oatcakes. $25.00 per person. Feasgar air Chéilidh | Evening Céilidh Tour
Walk with us as we céilidh form house to house for a guided storytelling tour of the Highland Village. This special folklife experience will give you insight into the lives and stories of Nova Scotia Gaels. The group will have an opportunity to enjoy some tea and traditional Cape Breton oatcakes. Reservations preferred. $25.00 per person . (7:00pm-9:00pm)
 
 

Living History Programs

Gabh Pàirt `nar Stòiridh | Put yourself in our story - Adult or Family Living History Program
Put yourself in our story. This two-hour program will allow individuals or whole families to create meaningful memories as they take part in our living history program. Participants will dress in period costume and experience first hand what life was like for our Gaelic ancestors. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. $25.00 per adult, $15.00 per student.  *Available June 1- August 31, 2017. *Some blackout dates apply. 
 
Làithean Sona | Happy Days Children’s Living History Program
Take part in this special living history program for children and get a sense of what life was like for Gaels in those days past. This program will consist of four theme days which include wool working, foodways, superstitions and farming. Children will dress in period costumes as they try hands-on activities including chores, crafts, games while learning Gaelic language and songs. This program is for ages 8-12 only and runs from 10 am to 4 pm. The cost is $45 per child. If you attend three Wednesdays, the forth Wednesday is free.
The program is held every Wednesday for the months of July and August.

Na Deugairean/ The Teenagers Living History Program for Youth

Partake in this special living history program for teens and get a sense of the responsibilities and the lifestyles of young Gaels in days’ past. The program features special hands-on activities including chores, crafts, language and song. Costumes are provided. This program is for ages 13-17 and runs from 10 am to 4 pm. The cost is $45 per child. If you attend three Wednesdays, the forth Wednesday is free.
The program is held every Thursday for the months of July and August.
