Baile nan Gàidheal | Highland Village is seeking expressions of interest from candidates to serve on its Board of Trustees for the 2025–2028 term.
Are you passionate about Gaelic language and culture, heritage preservation, and community building? Do you have governance experience and a desire to help shape the future of Highland Village? Our Board of Trustees plays a vital role in guiding the museum's strategic direction, ensuring financial sustainability, and supporting policies, programs, and initiatives that celebrate and share Nova Scotia's Gaelic story.
Who We're Looking For
The Nominations Committee is seeking candidates with:
- Governance experience in non-profit or heritage organizations
- A strong interest in Gaelic language, culture, and traditions
- Experience in fund development, finance, or strategic planning
- A background in community engagement, education, or tourism
- A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability
We strive to ensure our Board reflects the diverse communities we serve and encourages applications from individuals across Nova Scotia and beyond.

Interested candidates—or those wishing to nominate someone—should submit a cover letter outlining their interest and qualifications, along with a résumé, by 5:00 PM ADT on May 2, 2025.
